description=Real-time QGIS collaboration with shared cursors and geographic annotations.
about=Collaboration connects QGIS users over a local network through an integrated TCP relay.
Participants can see each other's presence and cursors, create geographic annotations,
edit any shared annotation, and delete annotations for everyone. Participants can
signal a point, draw a line, follow a cursor, or follow the map shared by the person who started the relay. Users who connect later
automatically receive the current annotation state. Annotations can also be created,
edited, and deleted while disconnected; they stay on the map until QGIS closes and are
shared again when a session starts. The plugin does not create or modify vector layers
and requires no external Python dependencies. An optional session code can limit
who is allowed to join. The current protocol has no encryption, so it should be
used on trusted networks or through a VPN.

changelog=1.4.3
    - Renamed an internal relay field so an empty value is not reported as a password.
    1.4.2
    - Used the scoped QGIS geometry enum for line and arrow graphics.
    1.4.1
    - Limited map sharing to the person who started the relay.
    - Let everyone else follow that map only while their own button is on.
    - Kept the status light on Connected after the session is already working.
    1.4.0
    - Added a temporary signal for pointing at a map location.
    - Added line annotations with an arrow.
    - Added a list for finding annotations and centering the map on them.
    - Added follow mode for another participant's cursor.
    - Added an optional shared map view controlled by the host.
    1.3.0
    - Added an optional session code so only people with the code can join.
    - Added a tool to move annotations.
    - Let the host choose which local address other participants use.
    - Kept QGIS responsive while the relay starts and while a connection is tested.
    - Added an option to silence participant sounds.
    - Moved annotation and cursor labels once per map redraw while panning.
    - Requires QGIS 3.40 or later.
    1.2.9
    - Allowed annotations to be created, edited, and deleted without a live session.
    - Kept those annotations on the map until QGIS closes.
    - Synchronized offline annotation changes when a session reconnects.
    1.2.8
    - Fixed remote cursor labels so they stay with the cursor while the map moves.
    - Preserved cursor accuracy in geographic coordinate systems.
    - Fixed relay broadcasts when several participants send messages at once.
    - Closed relay connections on shutdown, plugin reload, and leaving host mode.
    - Stopped annotation tools from editing after the session disconnects.
    - Reassembled UTF-8 text split across TCP packets.
    - Reused coordinate transforms instead of rebuilding them on every cursor.
    1.2.7
    - Fixed host mode so its local client connects through the relay's LAN address.
    - Migrated saved host configurations that still used loopback.
    1.2.6
    - Start collaboration now connects immediately using saved settings.
    - Configure collaboration now saves settings without starting a relay.
    1.2.5
    - Updated the QGIS warning message level enum for Qt6 compatibility.
    1.2.4
    - Repackaged the validated security, Qt6, and LAN relay fixes for publication.
    1.2.3
    - Fixed embedded relay startup verification when bound to the detected LAN address.
    1.2.2
    - Updated Qt enums and dialog execution calls for Qt6 compatibility.
    1.2.1
    - Resolved QGIS security scan findings for silently ignored exceptions.
    - Restricted relay binding to an explicit LAN or loopback address.
    1.2.0
    - Added collaborative point annotations.
    - Added shared create, edit and delete operations.
    - Added annotation snapshots for newly connected users.
    - Added CRS transformation for annotations and remote cursors.
    - Replaced toolbar artwork with unique SVG icons.
    - Renamed and translated the plugin to Collaboration.
    1.1.0
    - Focused the plugin on connection, presence and remote cursors.
    - Removed collaborative layer tracking and editing audit features.
    1.0.0
    - Initial standalone release.
