{"name": "ARSYSplotQGIS", "package_name": "ARSYSplotQGIS", "description": "Archaeostratigraphic workspace for excavation XYZ points: plan, sections, group filters, kernel density, PNG export and 3D", "about": "ARSYSplotQGIS is a QGIS 3 plugin for archaeostratigraphic reading of excavation point clouds.\nIt opens its own window. Plugin layers are not added to the QGIS map canvas or legend.\nThree linked views: plan (X/Y), longitudinal section (X/Z) and transversal section (Y/Z), plus an optional 3D scatter.\nLoad data with Import CSV (delimiter auto-detected: comma, semicolon, tab or pipe), Load sample, or Use selected layer.\nMap P1 as the object centre (X, Y, Z). Optionally map P2 and P3 as the two ends of an orientation vector (P2\u2192P3; if P3 is missing, P1\u2192P2).\nA group field (material, level, \u2026) colours the points. Filter with coloured chips (All / None) and X, Y, Z range sliders.\nAdaptive frame: Off keeps the full extent; On zooms canvases to the filtered cloud.\nDraw points (P1), vectors, both, or none. Point size and arrow size apply to all views.\nDensity: kernel-density heatmap and/or isolines of the filtered points (Quartic, Triangular, Uniform, Triweight, Epanechnikov).\nMin/Max set the colour stretch from the plan peak and apply it to each view\u2019s own peak (plan, X/Z, Y/Z). Below Min is not drawn. Auto uses a 2 percent cut and 100 percent of each local peak.\nColour palettes, radius, cell size, isoline count, labels and opacity are adjustable. Density stays inside the plugin.\nEach view has a zoom window and PNG export (title, subtitle, background, 96\u2013600 dpi) with metre axes, grid, scale bar and legend.\n3D is a built-in Qt orbit/pan/zoom scatter. It does not use the QGIS 3D engine and needs no extra Python packages.\nRequires QGIS 3.22 or later (tested on 3.40). Uses only the Python that ships with QGIS, plus the bundled Processing heatmap and contour algorithms.\nNo pip packages, no binaries, no internet connection at runtime.\nSample data (sample.csv) is included: p1x, p1y, p1z, material, categoria, taxo, nivell. Use Load sample.\nDocumentation: Help \u2192 Plugins \u2192 ARSYSplotQGIS, or the README in the code repository (homepage).\nLicence: GNU GPL-2.0-or-later (required by the QGIS plugin repository).", "homepage": "https://github.com/acanals/ARSYSplotQGIS", "repository": "https://github.com/acanals/ARSYSplotQGIS", "tracker": "https://github.com/acanals/ARSYSplotQGIS/issues", "author": "Antoni Canals-Salom\u00f3 (URV IPHES-CERCA)", "tags": ["archaeology", "archaeostratigraphy", "excavation", "stratigraphy", "heatmap", "kde", "isolines", "3d", "csv", "points", "sections"], "downloads": 51, "latest_version": "0.2.4", "versions": [{"version": "0.2.4", "experimental": false, "qgis_min": "3.22.0", "qgis_max": "3.99.0", "downloads": 14, "uploaded_by": "acanals", "upload_datetime": "2026-11-03T18:17:50.841763"}, {"version": "0.2.3", "experimental": false, "qgis_min": "3.22.0", "qgis_max": "3.99.0", "downloads": 19, "uploaded_by": "acanals", "upload_datetime": "2026-11-02T16:59:46.906255"}, {"version": "0.2.2", "experimental": false, "qgis_min": "3.22.0", "qgis_max": "3.99.0", "downloads": 18, "uploaded_by": "acanals", "upload_datetime": "2026-11-01T16:01:08.813211"}]}
