name=AI Edit by TerraLab
description=Show a project on real aerial imagery, from a text prompt: a redevelopment before it is built, a street planted with trees, a flood, or an orthophoto redrawn as a clean site plan. Land cover maps, cloud and object removal too. Georeferenced output.

changelog=
    1.13.1
    - After a result, New edit, Try again and Same edit elsewhere are one click away again

    1.13.0
    - Pick 2K or 4K output, with the ground resolution and the credit cost shown on Generate
    - Library examples show a finished result; Try on this zone runs the same edit on your map
    - Saved GeoTIFFs get neutral names (ai_edit_date_vN) and never carry your prompt
    - Choose how long edit history is kept in Settings; the Processing toolbox no longer freezes QGIS

    1.12.0
    - The zone is an "Area of interest" layer, saved with the project and shared by our other plugins
    - Generate starts on slow connections, with the layers above the image still sent as references
    - Opening Sessions no longer crashes QGIS
    - Clearer interface text in all 11 languages

    1.11.0
    - On a slow or unstable connection, AI Edit waits and retries instead of failing
    - A result cut off while downloading resumes where it stopped, never saved half-empty
    - Before/after compare works on QGIS builds without WebP support
    - A prompt too short to work is refused before any credit is used

    1.10.0
    - Drag a box on the map to draw a zone, with a hint on the map; right-click finishes
    - The demo map opens with a ready zone and prompt, plus three one-click starting prompts
    - Try again makes a new variation; Same edit elsewhere reuses your prompt on a new zone
    - Closing the panel keeps your zone and prompt, and new results show up ticked on the map

about=
Show a project before it exists, on the aerial imagery you already have open

    • Select an area, write what you want, get the result back as a georeferenced layer on the same extent and CRS as your source imagery, tagged as AI-generated

    • The most used case: an orthophoto redrawn as a clean illustrative site plan. Then redevelopments, planted streets, densified blocks, parks, solar farms, flood and sea level scenarios, enhanced aerials, clouds and cars removed, land cover drawn as flat colours

    • Works on any raster on your map: GeoTIFF, JPG, PNG, and online basemaps (WMS, XYZ tiles). Vector layers and other rasters can guide the result as references

    • Guide the result: reference images or layers, a sketch on the map, iterations, and a before/after slider

    • Vectorize: a generated map with flat colours becomes editable polygons, exported to GeoPackage, Shapefile or GeoJSON

    • 100+ ready-made prompts, ranked by what people actually run, or write your own

    • What it is not: a preview, not a document. No dimensions, no legal value, not a site plan for a permit. Not a detector: for building, tree or parcel outlines with real geometry, use AI Segmentation. Not a prediction: a flood scenario is an illustration

    • Windows, macOS, Linux, no GPU needed. Free tier without a card. Powered by Google's Nano Banana image model, run on TerraLab servers
